UX / Product Design Experience
Feb 2026 — Mar 2026
UX/UI Designer — Capstone
BollyStep · Remote
Led the UX redesign of the BollyStep marketing site as my capstone — focused on navigation, onboarding, and trust signals across three distinct user roles
Ran user interviews, heuristic evaluation, and content audit; found that trust, not navigation, was the primary drop-off cause — which changed the direction of the project
Built user flows, mid-fi wireframes, and a high-fidelity Figma prototype; iterated based on two rounds of usability testing
SUS score improved from 52 to 87 between Round 1 and Round 2 testing
Dec 2025 — Feb 2026
UX/UI Designer — Bootcamp Projects

Food4U: Designed a mobile app for restaurants to distribute surplus food, with organisations accepting donations through a third-party delivery partner. Ran surveys, interviews, and competitive analysis; refined the experience after early prototype research showed the need to focus on the restaurant flow.
Mayura Roots: Redesigned navigation and IA for a traditional Indian e-commerce site. Card sorting revealed users think by occasion, not product type — which replaced my original nav structure entirely
Ruchi Kitchen: Ran user interviews and designed a multi-mode Recipe Play feature (Video, Audio, Step-by-Step) for hands-free cooking usability
Teaching Experience
Aug 2025 — Nov 2025
Preschool Teacher
Kiddie Academy of Cupertino · Cupertino, CA
Watched how young children navigated confusion and frustration before they had the words to describe it — which sharpened my instinct for reading non-verbal behaviour in research sessions
Adapted teaching approach daily to individual learning needs across a group with very different starting points — an early lesson in designing for more than one user type
Collaborated with parents and educators to track progress and adjust plans based on observed outcomes rather than assumptions
Dec 2024 — Jul 2025
Preschool Teacher
International Child Resource Institute · Stanford, CA
Planned and facilitated structured learning activities for a classroom with a wide range of ages and abilities — required constant re-evaluation of what was and wasn't working
Observed learning behaviours closely and adjusted approaches mid-session when something wasn't landing
Maintained an inclusive, consistent environment where children with different needs could participate
Aug 2024 — Dec 2024
Support Teacher
ChildCare Careers · San Jose, CA
Supported lead teachers across multiple settings, adapting quickly to different classroom cultures and expectations
Maintained safe, engaged learning environments during activity and free-play sessions
Aug 2013 — May 2015
Computer Science Teacher
VVNKM CBSE School · India
Taught coding fundamentals and digital literacy to secondary school students — learned quickly that how you explain something matters as much as what you explain
Designed lessons that integrated technology in ways students found relevant, not just instructional
